Jacksonville State University, where leadership grew into action, and passions became institutions.

The JSU Years

Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama became the next stage for Perry's evolution. College wasn't just about academics, it was about translating the leadership skills honed in JROTC and Scouting into real-world impact. At JSU, Perry didn't just join organizations; he built them.

From continuing his involvement with the legendary Marching Southerners to founding JSU Club Swimming, Perry's college years were defined by initiative, community building, and the relentless pursuit of making things better for those around him.

Beyond athletics and music, Perry served as an SGA Student Senator and sat on the Organizational Council Board of Directors as theDirector of Athletic Organizations. In this role, he organized theSport Club Council, creating a unified governing body for JSU's athletic clubs that brought structure, accountability, and shared resources to student-led sports programs across campus.

Perry also competed in the first round of the Hult Prize Competition, an international challenge for entrepreneurs where teams build and pitch businesses based on seven humanitarian categories. He qualified for the second round in Boston, demonstrating his early entrepreneurial drive and commitment to solving real-world problems.
