Creative Endeavors
Writing, music, video, and the creative pursuits that bring color to a purpose-driven life.
The Creative Thread
Creativity isn't separate from Perry's professional and leadership work , it runs through everything. From writing a book to editing video for the Marching Southerners to envisioning new products at Luzran, the creative instinct is always at work. This page celebrates the pursuits that are creative first and practical second.
Writing
Writing has been a constant in Perry's life. What began as journaling and reflective writing evolved into the published work Faith & Focus: A Guide to Success for Neurodivergent Godly Men. Writing, for Perry, is both a creative outlet and a tool for organizing thought, a way to make sense of complex ideas and share them with others.
Beyond the book, Perry continues to write on topics spanning AI, faith, leadership, and neurodiversity. Each piece is crafted with the same intentionality he brings to his business ventures: clear, honest, and aimed at providing genuine value.
Music & The Marching Southerners
Music has been a defining part of Perry's journey from high school through college. His involvement with the legendary Marching Southerners, both as a high school participant and at Jacksonville State University, connects him to a tradition of musical excellence. While Perry's role was behind the scenes in video and logistics, his appreciation for musical artistry and the discipline of performance runs deep.
Video Production
Video editing and production have been part of Perry's skill set since his early days with the Marching Southerners. Capturing live performances, editing footage into compelling narratives, and understanding the technical craft of video production are creative skills that Perry has continued to develop and apply across his professional work.
In an age where video content drives communication, these skills serve Perry well in everything from product demonstrations to speaking engagement recordings.
Creativity as Practice
For Perry, creativity isn't a talent, it's a practice. It's the daily discipline of seeing possibilities where others see limitations, of combining ideas from different domains, and of consistently making things. Whether the output is a chapter, a video, a product feature, or a business strategy, the creative muscle is always being exercised.
This commitment to creative practice is what allows Perry to operate at the intersection of technology and humanity, bringing not just technical solutions but thoughtful, well-crafted ones.
