A Coaching Foundation

Perry's path to this role was built on years of hands-on coaching experience. From coaching the Anniston Barracudas in 2023 to leading the JSU program from 2022 to 2026, Perry developed a coaching philosophy centered on building confidence, technical excellence, and team culture.

His experience as a USMS National athlete gives him a unique perspective as a coach, combining firsthand knowledge of elite-level competition with the ability to communicate and develop swimmers at every stage of their journey.

Leadership Through Service

For Perry, coaching has always been about more than winning races. It's about building character, instilling discipline, and creating an environment where young athletes can discover their potential. The same principles that drove him to found JSU Club Swimming, serve others, build systems that last, and lead by example, are the principles he brings to the Atlanta Athletic Club.

The Bigger Picture

Being selected as Head Coach of the AAC Barracudas validates Perry's approach to leadership: start with service, build with integrity, and let the results speak for themselves. Perry's story is proof that perseverance and skill create lasting impact.
