Personal Interests & Hobbies

Beyond the structured world of JROTC and competitive swimming, the hobbies that kept the creative spark alive.

The Well-Rounded Life

While the discipline of JROTC, the rigor of swimming, and the dedication of marching band shaped Perry's character, it was his personal interests and hobbies that kept his world colorful and his mind sharp. A life lived only in structure becomes rigid; hobbies provided the balance and creative outlet that every driven person needs.

Technology & Tinkering

Perry's fascination with technology started early and only deepened through high school. Whether it was building computers, experimenting with software, or diving into the early world of digital media, technology was never just a tool, it was a playground for problem-solving and creativity.

This hands-on technical curiosity laid the groundwork for his future in IT, cybersecurity, and ultimately AI entrepreneurship. The high school tinkerer would become the founder of Luzran.

Leadership & Honor Societies

Perry's commitment to academics and service extended beyond the classroom through active membership in several of his high school's most prestigious organizations. He was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Student Council, each reinforcing his dedication to scholarship, leadership, and community involvement.

Most notably, Perry served as President of the Exceptional Student Societyduring his senior year. The Exceptional Student Society was a group designed to bring together autistic and neurotypical students in a shared social environment, fostering understanding, inclusion, and genuine connection. Leading this organization was deeply personal for Perry and an early expression of the advocacy for neurodivergent communities that would later define his writing career.

The Creative Spirit

Hobbies like video editing, creative writing, and exploring new technologies kept Perry's creative muscles exercised. These weren't just pastimes, they were incubators for skills that would prove invaluable in his professional life. The ability to tell stories, to present ideas compellingly, and to approach problems from creative angles all trace back to these formative pursuits.
